Annika Inez is an artist and jewelry designer based in New York City and Malmö, Sweden. Growing up in Scandinavia in a family of designers shaped Annika's reverence for details; Sweden's open landscape and its quietude influenced her appreciation for the spiritual and aesthetic weight of negative space and the beauty of everyday moments around us. This is often reflected in her work by having a minimalist surface hold a small element like a mirror inside a sphere, or an essential oil wood diffuser on the back of a sculpted yet simple serpent head.
Annika designs and develops our collections, from sketching and hand-carving waxes to finalizing the prototypes. Our jewelry is made in NYC and Jaipur, India, using recycled Sterling silver, 14-karat gold plating over Sterling silver, and 10-karat pure gold. Our glass jewelry is hand-made with Borosilicate glass in upstate New York.
Our India partner factory is a vetted member of the Responsible Jewellery Council. RJC is the world’s leading sustainability standard-setting organisation for the jewellery and watch industry.
We regularly audit our sustainability efforts across every part of our business. Our branded packaging is intentionally minimal, crafted using only recycled, recyclable, or compostable materials — never plastic. We're always looking for ways to reduce waste; from emailing invoices instead of printing them, to debossing our logo directly onto kraft paper used for protecting your jewelry in transit, rather than including a separate card.
5% of Heart Collection sales support One Love Community Fridge, a Brooklyn-based group fighting food insecurity through fresh food access, nutrition education, and sustainability. We also volunteer alongside them in their mission to nourish and uplift the community.
